| Born and raised for the most part in Cleveland, Ohio, I was that kid in the painting room in high-school. During my BFA education at Ohio University, I developed most of what is now regarded as my "personal work" and continued to work in that very personal style after college, back home near Cleveland, showing mostly in The Pop Shop Studio and Gallery in Lakewood. I have always believed that the ability to paint anything makes the choice not to depict things more important. (I can easily explain it in person... not so much in words, but you get the point..) So I set out to pursue my Masters Degree in traditional realistic painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. About my art... well... its easier to just talk about it over a gin and tonic or two if people have pressing questions.. otherwise just enjoy for now, and maybe somewhere you will see an "artist's statement."
